Sam is a highly experienced videographer, with a track record in producing documentaries, filming and editing online and TV packages and directing digital-led projects that give a voice to underserved audiences.
She began her career at BBC News in the regions and formed an integral part of BBC South's pilot digital video team. Following that she moved to London to join the network team where she worked across both linear and digital outlets spanning numerous departments: digital video, world affairs, money and work, UK insight and investigations. From filming and editing to producing, directing, writing, scripting and much more, she acquired a wealth of knowledge that saw her awarded CIRCOM's 'Video Journalist of the Year' and MHP's 'Journalism: 30 to Watch'. Sam's expertise lies in her ability to deliver creative and insightful films while simultaneously navigating complex editorial and legal situations.

After six years at the BBC she joined the Channel 4 News team where she currently works as a specialist multimedia producer.
